System Admin นั้นเป็นบุคลากรทำหน้าที่ในการดูแลและจัดการในระบบคอมพิวเตอร์หรือระบบเครือข่ายทำงานได้ โดยความสามารถของSys admin คือ ความรู้เกี่ยวกับ OS โปรแกรมต่างๆ และการแก้ปํญหาเกี่ยวกับ ฮาร์ดแวร์ ซอฟแวร์

จากที่นำมาให้อ่าน ความหมายหน้าที่ของ System admin จะเห็นได้ว่า ต้องมีความสามารถกว้างขวางในหลายๆส่วน ทั้งเรื่อง OS ,Setup ,Maintain อาจารย์ ดร.วรา เคยสอนถึงขั้นวิธีการรับโทรศัพท์ และการเข้าไปหาผู้ใหญ่ รวมถึงมารยาทสังคมด้วย ยิ่งองค์กรใหญ่เท่าไหร งานยิ่งยาก ยิ่งเยอะ ยิ่งซับซ้อน แต่งานหลักของ System admin จริงๆ คือ การบริการนะครับ
